Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Rogue Wear AS ("Rogue," "we," "us") collects when you visit roguew.com or place an order, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We are based in Norway and handle personal data in line with the GDPR.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect: your name, email, shipping and billing address, and phone number when you place an order or sign up for our newsletter; payment information, which is processed directly by our payment provider and is not stored on our servers; and basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically as you browse.

How we use it

We use this data to process and deliver your order, respond to your enquiries, send you updates if you've opted in to our newsletter, and improve the site based on how it's used. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Legal basis

We process your data because it's necessary to fulfil a contract with you (your order), because you've given consent (for marketing emails), or because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our business.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum data necessary with the third parties who help us run the store: our e-commerce platform (Shopify), our payment processor, and the shipping carriers who deliver your order. These providers are only permitted to use your data to perform their service for us.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep order information for as long as needed to meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations. If you've signed up to our newsletter, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how it's processed, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email us at howdy@roguew.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) if you believe your data has been mishandled.

International transfers

Some of the providers we work with may process data outside Norway or the EEA. Where this happens, we rely on providers who maintain appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
